Just like in previous years, the conference could not happen without sponsors and partners. Based on experience from previous years, we have defined three variants of sponsorship "packages" with different amounts and benefits. If you would like to do some changes to the benefits, let us know - we may be unable to change them for this year, but we will consider your suggestions when preparing the next one.
If you're interested in supporting the conference, use the following forms for either the partnership or donor programme (links are also in the titles):
If you have some questions, please contact us an e-mail to sponsors@p2d2.cz.
There are two basic variants how you can support this conference - partnership and donations.
The rules for partners are similar to previous years, and the contributor receives invoice for the provided service(s). We'll list all partners, just like to donors, at the conference and we'll list their logos on the conference website. The partners have right to other services on the conference (see below). The CSPUG user group will use the full donation to organize this conference.
In this case we issue a certificate of the donation, according the law 586/92 Sb. (§ 15 par. 1 and § 20 par. 8) as required by the IRS / employer to prove donations for tax purposes. The donors will be listed on our website and we'll of course thank all of them for the contribution. The CSPUG user group will use the full donation to organize this conference. The donation is the preferred way of sponsorship, mostly due to simplicity/flexibility, but it does not allow us to provide any services in return.
None of the sponsorship / partnership variants does not include a "slot" for a talk or a keynote. We welcome talk proposals submitted throught the regular call for papers process, but we pick talks independently, not considering any contributions.
Requests for sponsorship will be handled on a "first come - first serve" basis (applies especially to the Gold level, as the number of sponsors on this level is limited).
Information materials (that should be put into the registration packages), rollups etc. can be sent directly to the conference venue, about 14 days before the conference. We'll provide the address on request.
The primary purpose of all funds received from sponsors is funding the conference (catering, travel expenses for foreign speakers if requested, etc.), with the intent to make the event about "break even". Any remaining funds (if any) will be used by CSPUG for future growth and expansion of the even and/or supporting PostgreSQL-related activities like local PostgreSQL meetups. A detailed overview of the revenue and costs is available on the CSPUG transparent account which we're required to have as a registered non-profit.
